*June 15 PREX Symposium - Turning our Differences into Strength! Looking Beyond our Different Values and Nationalities”

==================================================================

Our world is made up of different countries and different sets of values. It is through these very differences that we make new discoveries and celebrate our diversity. Can we overcome the “wall” in our hearts that tries to make us dismiss everything that is different from ourselves? Through understanding others, can we turn our “differences” into “strength”?

In this PREX Symposium, Mr. Daiko Matsuyama, the Vice Priest of Taizo-in, Myoshin-ji Temple has been invited to deliver the keynote lecture on topics such as the Japanese mentality of tolerance, unique religious perspectives, and the importance of mutual understanding between people.

In the latter half’s panel discussion, panelists actively working towards turning interactions with foreign cultures into “strength” will introduce various topics. Some topics will include the borderless mutual understanding brought about by interest in different cultures, the relationship of trust with foreign employees against the backdrop of globalizing small and medium-sized enterprises, and the discoveries of and solutions to regional problems related to living side by side with foreign residents. This will be followed by an open discussion about the significance and possibilities relating to people’s interaction with others. This event is sure to help you overcome the “differences” around you and transform them into “strength”.
